Terms of Service

The service

Sifter helps you find local businesses and review the public state of their websites. You get search results, automated website audits, AI-generated summaries and pitches, and a simple lead tracker.

Your account

You need a valid email address to sign in. You are responsible for activity under your account. One account per person; allowances are per account and may not be pooled or resold.

Plans and billing

The free trial includes a one-time usage allowance and requires no payment details. The Pro plan is billed monthly through Stripe and includes a monthly usage allowance that resets each calendar month. Unused allowance does not roll over. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to spam, harass, or mislead the businesses it surfaces, to scrape or resell the data at scale, or to attempt to circumvent usage limits. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.

Data and accuracy

Business data comes from third-party sources (such as Google Maps) and audits are automated; both can be incomplete or out of date. AI output can be wrong. Verify anything important before you send it to a prospect. The service is provided as is, without warranties.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. If a change is material we will notify you by email before it takes effect.
